Idate released a report about the worldwide FTTB/H situation.
For me, the tree main ideas about how is FTTH at present are:
- there are just three countries with over 1M FTTB/H subscribers, which are Japan, Korea and the US.
- fiber is Asian, with 5 asian countries among the ten countries with more FTTH/B connections
- the FTTH market is still emerging because it has just 8M subscribers globally. This is nothing compared to the number of broadband users.
